Love, Magic and Stromboli

I LOVE this time of year. I love the warmth, the lights and I love that it’s the one time of year that my mom makes her famous Stromboli! (I’m sharing the recipe below!) My kids are SO excited. (Though my daughter might be slightly disappointed that the number one thing on her list, a new sister, is SO not happening!) It fills me with so much love to watch the magic on their little faces throughout this month!

Happy Holidays

I’ll keep this short so that you can get back to decking the halls and dashing through the snow! THANK YOU! I am so grateful for your presence in this community, for sharing your energy and for allowing me to do what I do. I have realized throughout this year that one of the best gifts that I have ever been given was the courage to be self aware. Self awareness is step one to making miracles. And I have made quite a few in the last few years!

Remember this:

Wisdom is not something that is reserved
for the elderly or for the folks
who live in the ashrams and meditate all day.

It’s for you too.

So make 2015 the year of your truth. The year you get self aware and take control of your circumstances. Make 2015 the year of your miracle.

We have some beautiful things in the works to help you do that but remember, it’s your call. You can choose right now to make next year the year that changes everything.

And I look forward to walking that journey with you. I am no different. A mom of three from a small suburb of Pittsburgh, and I’ve done it. I am committed to helping you do it too in 2015.

Wishing you a magical and blessed holiday.

Here’s my gift to you:

Famous Stromboli Recipe

(not a vegetarian recipe though I HAVE made this by layering veggies and cheese instead of meat and cheese!)

Unroll one package of Pillsbury crescent rolls and lay on bottom of 9×13 glass dish.

Layer the following in this order:

  • 1/4 lb of chipped ham
  • 1/4 lb of salami
  • 1/4 lb of Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 lb of sandwich pepperoni
  • 1 small jar of roasted red peppers
  • 1/4 lb of provolone cheese

Beat 3 eggs and pour over meat and cheese.

Unroll a second package of crescent rolls and over the top of layers.

Beat one egg and brush over top.

Cover in foil and Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

Uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Delicious!!! Enjoy. 😉 XO
